Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Salary: $55,300/year

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: 5402 Highway Street, Valleyview, AB T0H 3N0

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Oversee and manage food preparation and cooking operations within the establishment

·         Develop and maintain high-quality menu offerings, ensuring all dishes meet established standards.

·         Assess food supply needs and provide estimates for ingredient and labor costs.

·         Supervise and coordinate the work of sous-chefs and kitchen staff.

·         Arrange for the purchase, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment as needed.

·         Handle recruitment and hiring processes for kitchen staff.

·         Take part in cooking duties, either regularly or for special occasion.

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
