Position Info:

·         Position: Hairstylist

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location:  5-10180 153 Street, Surrey, BC V3R 0B5

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Propose hairstyles to customers based on their physical appearance or instructions

·         Examine hair and scalp condition and provide basic hair treatment

·         Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair

·         Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour hair

·         Shampoo, rinse hair, and provide extra hair product if necessary

·         Monitor inventory to prevent any supply shortage

·         Supervise the activities of hairstylist apprentices in training

·         Apply hair extensions

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a hairstylist are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
