Wage: $17 per hour

Employment type: permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)

Working schedule: Day, Evening, On Call, Shift, Weekend

Starting: as soon as possible

OVERVIEW:

 

Language: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Worksite environment: Noisy; Wet/damp

Work setting: Coffee shop; Relocation costs are covered by the employer; Willing to relocate

Responsibilities:

Tasks

·       Establish methods to meet work schedules

·       Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

·       Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

·       Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

·       Hire food service staff

·       Ensure food service and quality control

·       Prepare budget and cost estimates

·       Address customers’ complaints or concerns

·       Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

·       Prepare and submit reports

·       Supervise and check assembly of trays

·       Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys

·       Establish work schedules
