Overview
1. Job Description/Described Duties:
· Undertake design project from concept to completion. Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space.
· Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”.
· Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans.
· Set costs and project fees according to budget.
· Research and decide on materials and products sourcing.
· Produce “sample” and “mood products”.
· Supervise work progress and direct site work crews and subcontractors.
· Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors.
· Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises.
· Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures using computer-assisted design (CAD) software and graphics software.
· Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings, and advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, floor and wall coverings, window treatments, interior and exterior lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
· Estimate costs and materials required and may advise on leasing, real estate and marketing
· Prepare plans and specifications for the final interior designs in accordance with current practices and codes.
2. Wages and working conditions: Hours of work: 40 hours per week Wage: $41.00 per hour
Overtime: $61.50 per hour after 44 hours per week Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly
3. Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
4. Vacation:
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary
Paid sick leave as required by the law but is subjected to be reported to medical officer about the sickness

1. Job Description/Described Duties:
· Designs graphics, animations, and manipulates digital photographs.
· Estimate the cost of materials and time to complete the web page designs.
· Participates in discussions with clients to clarify what they want.
· Coordinates various web pages with appropriate links and multimedia elements in collaboration with design team members.
· Develops and maintains the front-end functionality of websites.
· Develops site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists, designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.
