Possessing a professional team, has always kept the community front and centre as the focus of our purpose. Now, to expand the kitchen operation team, Red Robin is looking for a competent and professional cook. The priorities are reliable and dependable individuals who are also be able to be part of the teamwork and compatible to work in a busy, fast-paced and multi-task environment.

 

Job Description and Responsibilities:

We are looking to expand our team with a permanent full-time professional cook responsible for:

  • Prepare and cook regular meals
  • Determine portion sizes to prepare menu items properly by weighing, measuring, and properly mixing ingredients, while properly determine portion sizes to prepare menu items properly
  • Properly plan and execute the menu offerings
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of inventory, food wastage, supplies, and equipment to support management in the proper and efficient ordering of materials
  • Ensure the quality of food being prepared is aligned with business standards
  • Ensure all team members follow proper food safety sanitation requirements to maintain the kitchen and work area clean, leading by example, as well as additional procedures to meet COVID-19 protocols

Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school
  • 1-2 years cooking experience or completion of college or other program in cooking
  • Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain before the employment start date
  • Be capable of taking direction well
