Position Info:

·         Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 3

·         Work Location: 9648 128 Street, Surrey, BC V3T 2X9

Job Duties:

·         Support to early childhood educators in the implementation of programs that enhance children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development

·         Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits

·         Engage children through activities such as storytelling, teaching songs and preparing crafts

·         Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods

·         Provide written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors

·         Assist with housekeeping and cooking responsibilities while maintaining daycare equipment

·         Support early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining records

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 1-2 years of experience in childcare is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and E.C.E.A. Certificate

·         Language: English
