Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $33.00~$35.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 208 Island Highway East, Parksville, BC V9P 2H3

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Keep inventory and records of foods and other supplies
• Clean kitchen and work area
• Plan menus, determine food portions, and estimate food requirements
• Monitor and order supplies when required
• Participate in hiring and training kitchen staff
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Ensure to maintain high quality of food

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Language: English
