Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Drafting Technician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $32.00~$34.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 205-810 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC V3M 6B9

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Develop and prepare engineering drawings, plans, diagrams or layouts from sketches

·         Operate computer-assisted drafting equipment or a conventional drafting station

·         Examine designs for adherence and discrepancies, ensuring they meet requirements and design data

·         Complete documentation packages and drawing sets

·         Assess blueprints to determine work-related necessities

·         Draft construction specifications

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 1~2 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
