Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.00~$19.00/hour (depending on Experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 4
• Work Location: Location: 101-1730 Pier Mac Way, Kelowna, BC V1V 3E7

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals and dishes for customers.
• Prepare, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Check food and ingredients for freshness.
• Assist other cooks during the food assembly process.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food based on client preference.
• Hire, train and supervise kitchen helpers.
• Maintain kitchen inventory, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain good sanitation around work area.
• Order kitchen supplies and equipment when needed.

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
