Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.00~$35.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 885 Cranberry Lake Road, Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Supervise and coordinate the work of cooks and other kitchen staff

·         Plan and develop menus and ensure all food meets established quality standards

·         Prepare and cook complete meals on the menu

·         Participate in hiring and training kitchen staff

·         Train cooks in food preparation, cooking and handling of food

·         Coordinate the purchase and repair of kitchen equipment

·         Order food and other necessary kitchen supplies

·         Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory

·         Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
