Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Auto Body Technician – Collision

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $35.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 225 East 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 1B6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Review damage reports and repair cost estimates to develop a repair plan to be performed.

·         Install front-end, body, door, frame, and underbody components.

·         Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

·         Prepare auto body surfaces for painting by masking and taping.

·         Repair or replace broken and damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.

·         Apply primers and repaint vehicle surfaces.

·         Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grilles, then secure replacement parts through bolting or welding.

·         Inspect repaired vehicles and conduct test drives to ensure proper functionality.

·         Provide professional and courteous customer service.

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2 ~3 years of work experience in automotive technology are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
