Position Info:
- Position: Early Childhood Educator
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $22.50~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 3
- Work Location: 3839 Thurston Street, Burnaby, BC V5H 1H9

Job Duties:
- Design and implement childcare programs focused on enhancing children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth
- Organize and lead daily activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and physical activities
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that supports children’s well-being
- Assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs, and communicate their progress or challenges to parents and colleagues
- Monitor children closely and provide reports to parents, guardians, or supervisors regarding any potential learning or behavioral issues
- Assist children with daily routines including proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers
Job requirements:
- Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Language: English
