Position Info:

·         Position: Drilling Machine Operator

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.89~$40.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: 1316 United Boulevard, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6Y2

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

·         $1,000 Medical Allowance annually

Job Duties:

·         Operate drilling machines to make blast holes at road or construction sites

·         Assemble primer charges using detonators, fuses, and other materials

·         Measure location and stake out pattern of holes

·         Operate drills equipped with auger or other attachments

·         Interpret diagrams and instructions and lay out drill patterns

·         Determine depth and diameter of blast holes

·         Ensure that health and safety regulations are always followed

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required

·         Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required

·         Language: English
