Position Info:

·         Position: First Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $34.00~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 19 Helmcken Road suite 135, Victoria BC V8Z 5G5

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.

·         Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory, and keep records of food, supplies, and equipment.

·         Order supplies and equipment, and inspect kitchens and food service areas.

·         Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.

·         Oversee general kitchen operations and ensure cleanliness in the kitchen and work areas.

·         Supervise kitchen staff and recruit additional team members as needed.

·         Plan menus and estimate the required food quantities.

·         Determine portion sizes and calculate food costs.

 

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 1~2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
