Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $25.00~$35.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 5240 Rumble Street Burnaby BC V5J 2B6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Plan menus and estimate food requirements

·         Determine size of food portions

·         Prepare and cook complete meals and individual food items

·         Inspect and maintain clean kitchen and service area

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

·         Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and food handling

·         Manage kitchen operations by supervising kitchen helpers

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
