Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is November 1, 2025.
Language requirement: French or English.
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.
Location: ReCh… lives in Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec. The residence is located in near a shopping mall, and a big park is nearby. Public transportation, metro and bus/train, is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 161). The residence is located near the following intersection: Mackle and Boul. Cavendish.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a 2 year old child and a 4 year old child. The family is expecting a third child and the mother due to the mother’s health, the family will require additional support. Job duties do not include care for the mother
2- Supervision of children when parents are not at home,
3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
4- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
5- Bathe and dress children as needed
6- Feed, change diapers, and bathe newborn. Prepare youngest children for nap times
7- General housework that will include doing, laundry and some ironing.
8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
