Position Info:

  • Position: Motel Manager
  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $37.50 – $39.00 /hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
  • Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

  • Establish, implement and evaluate policies and procedures for the operation
  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Coordinate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
  • Manage inventory of motel supplies and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
  • Hire and manage staff, oversee training and arrange work schedules
  • Review and provide feedback on staff work performance
  • Handle client inquiries and agreements for using facilities
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints

 

Job requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience within the accommodation industry
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required
  • Language: English
