Position Info:

·         Position: Mechanical Engineer

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.06~$39.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 8560 Baxter Place, Burnaby, BC V5A 4T2

Job Duties:

·         Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems

·         Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems

·         Analyze dynamics of mechanical systems and structures

·         Oversee and inspect the installation, modification, and commissioning of mechanical systems

·         Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs

·         Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems

 

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: Experience is an asset

·         Education: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required
