Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28.85~$31.85/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 7145 Market Street, Port Hardy, BC V0N 2P0

 

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook full meals or specialty dishes

·         Organize and supervise the restaurant’s food preparation and cooking operations

·         Plan menus and ensure that food meets quality standards

·         Estimate the requirements and costs of necessary supplies, such as food and labour costs

·         Supervise activities of kitchen staff

·         Assist in the recruitment of staff

·         Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of kitchen equipment

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
