Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28.85~$31.85/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 7254 B Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz, BC V0M 1A0

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty dishes

·         Coordinate and oversee the restaurant’s food preparation and cooking processes

·         Create menus and ensure that food adheres to quality standards

·         Assess the needs and expenses for necessary supplies, including food and labor costs

·         Supervise activities of kitchen staff

·         Assist in the recruitment and hiring of staff

·         Train and instruct kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
