Position Info:

·         Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: #2-10320 Whalley Blvd, Surrey, BC V3T 4H4

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare plaster models and moulds based on dental impressions

·         Prepare wax bite-blocks and custom impression trays

·         Cast and shape gold or metal alloys for dental bridges and denture bases

·         Pack plastic material into moulds to produce full or partial dentures

·         Mould wax over denture set-up to create natural gum contours

·         Make orthodontic bands using materials such as gold, silver, or stainless steel

·         Finish metal framework of dentures and polish and buff dentures to obtain natural finish

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 1-2 years of related experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
