Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $29.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 260 4th Avenue, Kamloops, BC V2C 3N5

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

Oversee and manage food preparation and cooking operations of the establishment
Develop menus while ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
Assess food supply needs and calculate food and labour costs
Supervise cooks and kitchen workers to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Coordinate the purchase and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Hire and train new kitchen staff in safety and job duties
Prepare and cook completes meals
Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
