Gunraj Construction Inc located at 5979 141 Street Surrey, British Columbia is looking for suitable individual for Framer Helper position. The details are as follows:

Work Location: Various locations in the Lower Mainland area

Language: English

Work Hours: 40.00 hours per week

Wages: $24.00 CAD per hour

Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent

Main duties

·       Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas

·       Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders etc. required at construction sites.

·       Assist framer in construction activities

·       Assist framer to secure/unsecure special attachments to equipment and provide assistance in other activities

·       Assist in aligning wooden structures, mouldings and perform related activities.

·       Level surface to fine grade specifications

·       Assist in demolishing wooden structures using prying bars and other tools, and sort the surface area

·       Remove rubble and other debris at work sites

·       Tend or feed machines or equipment used in framing

·       Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

 

Employment requirements

Basic carpentry framing knowledge or previous experience as construction helper would be an asset.
