We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join their dynamic team. As a Retail Sales Representative, you’ll be the go-to expert helping customers navigate a wide range of products—from automotive and hardware to sporting goods and home essentials. Your role will include providing top-notch service, offering informed product guidance, and ensuring shelves and displays remain inviting and organized.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner, helping them locate products and answering inquiries.
- Provide product knowledge and advice, including use, care, and features of merchandise across departments (e.g., automotive, hardware, sports, home).
- Promote sales by suggesting complementary or value-added items based on customer needs.
- Process transactions using point-of-sale systems, including handling cash, credit/debit payments, and issuing receipts.
- Maintain merchandise displays by stocking shelves, facing products, and ensuring promotional signage is accurate and visible.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and assist with inventory control procedures.
- Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, including tagging, labeling, and organizing stock.
- Support online and in-store promotions, staying informed about current deals and product launches.
- Assist in visual merchandising, ensuring displays are clean, attractive, and aligned with brand standards.
- Handle customer concerns or returns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
Employment requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education.
- Previous retail experience, particularly in high-volume or customer-facing environments.
- Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to support a successful onboarding process.
- Demonstrated familiarity with point-of-sale systems, visual merchandising techniques, and/or specialized product knowledge in categories such as automotive, hardware, or sporting goods is considered a strong asset.
- Strong numeracy skills are essential for managing transactions, pricing accuracy, and basic inventory-related tasks.
