Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Administrative Officer

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: Unit 5, 10025 Galaran Rd, Sidney, BC V8L 5X3

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:

·         Oversee and plan office administrative processes, as well as examine, assess, and put new procedures into place

·         Establish work priorities, assign work to office support staff, and ensure procedures are followed

·         Manage the policies and processes pertaining to record release when handling requests under privacy and access to information laws

·         Plan and organize office services, including supplies, equipment, paperwork, asset disposal, parking, and security

·         Analyze and manage administrative tasks associated with budgeting, contracting, and project planning and management processes

·         Support the development of the operating budget and oversee inventory management and budget control measures

·         Gather data and create regular and specialized reports, manuals, and correspondence.

·         Supervise the work of records management technicians and associated personnel

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience:  1~2 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
