Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials, tools, and products within the warehouse or job site. This role supports the smooth operation of the supply chain and field teams by ensuring materials are available where and when needed.

Job Duties
– Receive, inspect, and organize telecommunications equipment, materials, and hardware (e.g., fiber optic cables, copper wiring, junction boxes, modems, routers, connectors, etc.).
– Prepare and stage materials, tools, and equipment for field technicians and installation crews based on daily work orders.
– Load and unload trucks with equipment and supplies for job sites using proper lifting techniques or forklifts (if certified).
– Track inventory levels of telecommunications materials using inventory management systems or manual logs; notify supervisor of low stock or discrepancies.
– Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse or yard locations following safety and organizational procedures.
– Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of storage areas, tools, and workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
– Deliver materials and tools to job sites as required, ensuring timely and accurate supply to field technicians.
– Return and restock unused or reusable equipment from completed field jobs.
– Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
– Adhere to all workplace safety standards and company policies, especially in handling hazardous materials or heavy equipment.
– Support telecommunications technicians and repairers with material-related tasks as needed.
