Overview

A C5–C6 quadriplegic individual residing in Laval is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide personal assistance and support with daily living activities, as well as perform housekeeping and other domestic tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a salary of $19 per hour. The caregiver will generally have two days off per week, usually Saturday and Sunday, although this may vary depending on the needs of the employer, so flexibility is essential. There is an option to live with the employer at no additional cost. The position requires fluency in either French or English.

General High school diploma – Completed

*Experience related to employment:

1–2 years of experience working with persons with disabilities, or equivalent experience gained through work or studies in a related field such as nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or psychology, is required.
