THE ROLE:
As a Salon Manager you will play a pivotal role in our team. You will provide first-rate leadership to our Granville Street location bringing your co-ordination and guidance delivering high quality service managing both the staff and clientele carrying out the Salon’s mission and philosophy.

Position:
·         Supervise and co-ordinate all staff members to ensure a smooth roll out of our day-to-day operations:

o   Attending to operations of the salon as well as maintaining a positive culture.

·         Plan and organize the salon’s daily schedule and services.

o   Overviewing the client scheduling to ensure high productivity allowing for quality care.

·         Create and implement rules and guidelines for salon staff.

·         Oversee financial management, including budgeting and inventory:

o   Ordering salon supplies and overseeing daily cash flow while auditing and balancing each transaction.

·         Interview, hire, and educate salon personnel while mentoring and guiding them through the onboarding process.

·         Providing Excellent Customer Service:

Ensuring every client receives outstanding service from the moment they enter the salon to the completion of their appointment.
Address and resolve any issues or complaints from clients.
Client Retention and Service:
Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat visits.
Adhering to Salon Guidelines and Mission Statement:
Following the salon’s guidelines, policies, and mission statement in all professional conduct.
Ensuring that all services provided align with the salon’s core values and goals.
Assisting Others with their Duties:
Offering support to colleagues and assisting them in their duties, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Helping with tasks outside of your primary role to contribute to the salon’s success.
·         Promoting Yourself and the Brand:

Representing the salon and its brand in a positive and professional manner both in the salon and externally.
Requirements:
·         Completion of secondary school is required.

·         College diploma in hospitality, customer service or courses related to beauty industry or hairstyling could be a strong asset.

·         2-3 years of work experience in the hair salon setting is required.

·         Team player who is keen to learn and develop themselves while working in a team.

·         Quick learner and excellent multi-tasker.

·         Detail oriented, systematic, careful, and energetic

·         Leadership – Ability to lead a team and mentor junior staff members with empathy and kindness.

·         Accountable – Fast and efficient, able to respond to sense of urgency and competing priorities.

·         Accuracy – Strong data entry and notice of detail pertaining to operations and salon supplies.

·         Motivated – Displays intent & desire to learn and become a subject matter expert.

·         Organized & Detail Oriented – Reliable and quality control oriented, takes pride in accuracy.

·         Perceptive – Exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinker, intuitive information processing skills.
