Position Info:

·         Position: Electrical Engineering Technician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.60-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Duties:

·         Assist in the design, development, and comprehensive testing of electrical and electronic components and systems

·         Support the inspection, testing, and evaluation of incoming electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies

·         Conduct routine performance and reliability testing (burn-ins) on assemblies, recording and analyzing the data

·         Contribute to the hands-on building and performance testing of prototypes as per engineering specifications

·         Perform a defined range of technical functions in support of electrical, electronic engineering, and physics research

·         Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment and systems

·         Execute precise calibration and adjustment procedures for all electrical and electronic measurement instruments following manuals

·         Collect, compile, and analyze operational and experimental data to aid in the preparation of project estimates, schedules, and detailed reports

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of a one- or two-year college program in electrical or electronics engineering technology is required

·         Language: English
