We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join the Canadian Tire 350 team as Lubrication Technicians. In this role, you will help keep customer vehicles running safely and efficiently by performing essential lubrication and maintenance services, while supporting the overall operations of our automotive service department and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine engine oil changes and apply lubricants to gears, joints, and other moving parts of vehicles and light-duty trucks.
  • Service mechanical components such as wiper, batteries, air filters and tires to ensure smooth and safe operation.
  • Replace filters, including oil, air, and fuel, to maintain vehicle performance and reliability.
  • Inspect, install, repair, and balance tires to maintain safe driving conditions.
  • Replenish or change coolant, brake and transmission fluids as part of regular maintenance procedures.
  • Support certified mechanics with general vehicle maintenance and other tasks as assigned.
  • Operate service vehicles to provide on-site maintenance and lubrication services.
  • Clean and maintain shop equipment
  • Clean and maintain a safe working environment

Employment requirements:

  • Education is not necessary.
  • Previous experience in automotive maintenance, lubrication, or mechanical work.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate service vehicles.
  • On-the-job training is provided.
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems, fluids, and basic repair techniques.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and tire servicing.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to automotive fluids and chemicals.
  • Own tools and equipment for job tasks.
  • Wear steel-toed safety boots to ensure on-site safety.
