We are hiring organized and trustworthy retail shelf stocker to join us at Canadian Tire 350. You will play an important role in supporting the store’s daily operations by ensuring shelves are well-maintained and products are available for customers. This position is ideal for someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accept deliveries, unpack merchandise, and check items for completeness and accuracy.
- Arrange products on shelves and displays in an orderly and appealing manner, ensuring correct pricing and labeling.
- Track and manage stock levels using scanning tools or inventory software.
- Mark items with appropriate pricing or identification tags.
- Protect valuable items by applying security measures to prevent theft.
- Help customers find products and provide guidance throughout the store or stock areas.
- Package and prepare orders for customer pickup or shipment, including proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas, aisles, and workspaces.
- Identify and report missing, damaged, or misplaced stock to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures when lifting, moving items, or using store equipment.
- Support order processing and e-commerce operations, including recording orders, updating inventory, and assisting with shipment preparations.
Employment requirements:
- Some secondary school education or equivalent.
- No prior work experience is necessary.
- Availability to work morning, daytime and evening shifts including weekends.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate pricing, transactions, and inventory tracking.
- Comfort using barcode scanners, labeling devices, and handling equipment such as carts and dollies.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, crouching, reaching, and standing for long periods.
