Position Info:
· Position: Sous-Chef
· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
· Wage: $20.00~$22.00/hour (depending on experience)
· Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
· Number of Positions: 1
· Work Location: 146 Main St, Fredericton, NB E3A 1C8

Job Duties:
· Prepare high-quality meals and various specialty menu items
· Monitor and analyze food costs and inventory levels to keep the kitchen on budget
· Lead the line by mentoring cooks with prep and plating techniques
· Run daily kitchen shifts and manage the back-of-house team
· Procure all necessary food stocks and kitchen supplies
· Create new menu items and daily specials with the Chef
· Customize specific dishes to accommodate allergies and restrictions
· Build the team by interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff
Job requirements:
· Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
· Education: Completion of secondary school is required
· Language: English
