Position Info:

·         Position: Kitchen Helper

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $18.00-$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: 1821A Canyon St, Creston, BC V0B 1G5

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Assist with clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs to keep dining and kitchen areas clean and organized throughout daily operations

·         Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils while following established sanitation standards

·         Wash and sanitize kitchen tools and equipment by hand when required to support smooth kitchen workflow

·         Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, including counters, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment, in compliance with food safety regulations

·         Collect and dispose of kitchen garbage and waste regularly to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment

·         Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors in kitchen and food preparation areas

·         Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits under supervision

·         Receive deliveries and help unpack and store food supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and designated storage areas according to proper storage procedures

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: Experience an asset

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
