Position Info:

·         Position: Kitchen Helper

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $18.00-$19.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: 2006 Oak Bay Ave, Victoria, BC V8R 1E4

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Process ingredients by using manual and electric tools to peel, slice, and trim food

·         Sanitize the entire kitchen facility, including work surfaces, storage units, and equipment

·         Unload incoming deliveries and organize them within the appropriate cold or dry storage

·         Wash all dishes, glassware, and flatware using industrial dishwashers or manual sinks

·         Restock condiments and station supplies to ensure service areas remain fully prepared

·         Distribute clean tableware and linens to dining areas and set tables for service

·         Assemble takeout orders by packaging food items and verifying they are ready for pickup

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: Experience an asset

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
