Position Info:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.45-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 204-7155 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5E 2V1

Benefits:

·         4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Coordinate the daily tasks of the prep and plating staff to keep service moving on time

·         Track daily stock, equipment repairs, sales, and food waste to keep accurate records

·         Order food, kitchen supplies, and equipment to keep the kitchen fully stocked

·         Estimate how much food and supplies are needed for upcoming shifts to avoid shortages

·         Inspect every dish and interaction to make sure the food and service stay up to standard

·         Train new and current team members on their specific duties, food safety, and shop sanitation

·         Hire new food service staff to maintain proper staffing levels

·         Handle customer complaints and concerns immediately to fix issues on the floor

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation or service is required
