Position Info:

·         Position: Hairstylist

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: #392-4800 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4J2

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

·         $500 training credit for cutting and coloring

Job Duties:

·         Cut and shape hair based on client preferences and facial features

·         Assess hair and scalp health to recommend the best styles and treatments

·         Style hair through blowouts, curls, waves, and specialized perms

·         Apply extensions and maintaining wigs or hairpieces

·         Color hair using techniques like bleaching, tinting, and highlighting

·         Prep clients with thorough shampooing and conditioning treatments

·         Track daily schedule, make note of appointments, and keep stations clean

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a hairstylist is required
