Position Info:

·         Position: Hairdresser

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: Unit 102-4501 North Rd, Burnaby, BC V3N 4R7

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Cut and trim hair according to each client’s specific requests

·         Wash and condition hair using professional techniques and shampoos

·         Style hair using tools to create curls, waves, or sleek finishes

·         Suggest flattering cuts and colors that work with a client’s face shape and style

·         Apply chemical treatments like color, perms, and straightening, plus scalp massages

·         Handle the salon schedule by booking and managing client appointments

·         Evaluate hair and scalp conditions to provide the right care and products

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a hairstylist is required
