Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $22.00-$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Work Location: #1-1012 Beach Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6E 1T7

Job Duties:

·         Manage portion sizes to ensure plating consistency and minimize waste

·         Cook complete meals and individual orders according to recipe standard

·         Customize dishes safely for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions

·         Coach junior staff on food preparation and safe handling procedures

·         Order the necessary ingredients and kitchen gear to stay fully stocked

·         Lead kitchen helpers and staff to keep service running smoothly

·         Monitor stock levels and keep organized records of supplies and equipment

Job requirements:

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Language: English
