Role Description

 

This is a full-time on-site role for Cooks at 1522651 B.C. Ltd. Asian Kitchen located in Parksville, BC.

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Inspect kitchens and food service areas

Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Order supplies and equipment

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

Clean kitchen and work areas

Organize and manage buffets and banquets

Manage kitchen operations

 

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and customer service skills

or experience working in a commercial kitchen or food production is preferred

Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures

 

Compensation

 

$21.5/hours, 30-40 hours per weeks
