Position: early childhood educator (ECE) assistant

Employer: Genius Education Academy

Location: 7420 Westminster Hwy. Richmond, BC. V6X 1A1

Work location: On site. Work must be completed at the physical location.There is no option to work remotely.

Salary: 23.50 to 25.50 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Term or contract; Full time

Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Will train

Responsibilities:
Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties;
Maintain daycare equipment;
Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs thatpromote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development ofchildren;
Order supplies and equipment;
Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records;
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs andpreparing crafts;
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressingand toilet habits;
Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and restperiods;
Submit written observations on children to early childhood educatorsor supervisors;
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
