Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 2006 Oak Bay Ave, Victoria, BC V8R 1E4

Job Duties:

·         Cook menu items to standards of quality, flavor, and consistency

·         Handle special orders safely for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions

·         Order food ingredients and kitchen supplies to ensure the shop is always fully stocked

·         Uphold portion control and food costs to reduce waste and maintain profitability

·         Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace throughout the shift

·         Train and lead kitchen staff on proper food preparation and safety protocols

·         Track inventory levels and keep accurate records of supplies and equipment

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
