Position Info:

·         Position: Kitchen Helper

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.85/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 150-4112 Lougheed Hwy, Burnaby, BC V5C 6A8

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Assist with basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting fresh produce.

·         Receive and organize deliveries, storing food supplies in designated refrigerators and freezers.

·         Operate commercial dishwashers to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently.

·         Hand-wash specialized kitchen tools and equipment as needed to support kitchen workflow.

·         Maintain sanitized work surfaces, storage areas, and appliances in compliance with safety rules.

·         Manage waste disposal and recycling regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.

·         Perform routine floor maintenance, including sweeping and mopping in food prep areas.

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: Experience an asset

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
