MINIMUM SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

– Two years to three years of baking experience or completion of a college or other program for bakers or completion of an apprenticeship program for bakers.
– Completing of high school
– Work with minimal supervision
– Ability to read and write English
– Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
– Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

JOB DUTIES
The job of Baker will be to support the Department Lead in all areas of production. These

Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
Bake mixed dough and batters
Train staff
Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Operate machinery
Organize and maintain inventory
Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
