Position Info:

·         Position: Bottle Depot Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 200 Rosetown Avenue, Penticton, BC V2A 3J4

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Coordinate daily facility logistics to maintain a fast and efficient operational workflow.

·         Oversee the collection, sorting, and processing of recyclable containers to maximize facility production.

·         Hire and train staff for sorting, customer service, and inventory roles to ensure full operational coverage.

·         Assign and review daily tasks for frontline team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and service.

·         Manage inventory levels for recyclable materials, depot supplies, and equipment to keep the facility organized.

·         Schedule repairs and routine maintenance for all recycling machinery and facility infrastructure.

·         Order the specific materials, tools, and supplies required for daily recycling operations.

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
