Position: Office Manager
Type: Full Time
Hourly Wage: $30 CAD/hour
Hours: 30 hours per week

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1.Coordinate Student Scheduling
Manage and schedule driving lessons for students using online booking platforms.
Respond to student and parent inquiries about class times, cancellations, and instructor assignments.
2.Customer Service & Front Desk Management
Greet students and visitors, address questions professionally, and resolve complaints promptly.
Maintain records of student progress, payment status, and certifications.
3.Instructor and Staff Support
Liaise between instructors, students, and parents to ensure effective communication.
Assign lessons and coordinate instructor calendars.
4.Regulatory & Compliance Duties
Maintain records required by local transportation authorities and keep student information confidential.
Record and update DMV and licensing records as needed for courses.
5.Administrative Tasks
Oversee the daily operation of the office (supplies, forms, equipment).
Handle billing, payment collection, receipt processing, and maintain budgetary control.
Assemble periodic reports relating to enrollments, pass rates, and operational efficiency.
6.Supervisory Duties
Supervise other administrative staff and ensure all administrative deadlines are met.
Train and develop office staff in customer service excellence and new office procedures.
7.Special Projects
Coordinate marketing campaigns, maintain service contracts, and manage promotional materials.
Plan office events or information nights related to driving safety or parent information sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements
1.At least 1-2 year experiene in admistrative positions.
2.Strong customer service skills; prior experience in a client-facing administrative role, preferably within an educational or driving school environment.
3.Proficiency with appointment scheduling systems and office software.
4.Experience working with payment systems and basic accounting practices.
5.Working knowledge of driving school regulations and documentation requirements.
6.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred).
7.College diploma or university degree in business, public administration, or a relevant field is an asset.
8.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
9.Ability to remain calm and diplomatic with students/parents, especially during high-pressure situations.
10.Mandarin capability are considered assets.
