Position Info:

·         Position: Bottle Depot Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 2577 Kingsway Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 1T5

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Develop and implement work plans to effectively prioritize daily depot operations and meet processing targets

·         Oversee and coordinate overall operational logistics, including bottle intake, sorting, and recycling workflows

·         Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient coordination of activities and service continuity

·         Monitor equipment and machinery performance, ensuring proper functionality and arranging maintenance when required

·         Identify operational issues and provide practical solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and service quality

·         Supervise staff by assigning duties, reviewing work performance, and ensuring compliance with company procedures

·         Participate in recruitment processes and support onboarding and training of new employees

·         Manage inventory levels of supplies and materials, and coordinate timely procurement to support ongoing operations

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
