Position Info:

·         Position: Planning Technician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $81,400-$82,000/year (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties:

·         Design plant layouts and production workflows to improve equipment assembly efficiency

·         Develop quality assurance and inventory programs to maintain technical standards

·         Prepare project estimates, production schedules, and operational reports

·         Manage health, safety, and fire prevention plans

·         Set machine controls and equipment variables for precision fabrication

·         Perform work-study and time-motion analyses to optimize shop floor processes

·         Oversee production activities to ensure equipment meets mobilization deadlines

·         Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide fabrication and planning

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience is required

·         Education: 1 or 2-year college program in industrial engineering technology or in a related discipline is required

·         Language: English
