Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Administrative Officer

·         Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 320 E 43rd Ave, Vancouver, BC V5W 1T3

Job Duties:

·         Support the day-to-day operations of the centre to keep things running smoothly

·         Introduce practical office practices that help the centre stay organized

·         Track monthly expenses and supply usage to help the centre stay within its budget

·         Maintain up-to-date digital records for every child, including emergency and medical info

·         Set priorities for the centre regularly to ensure all licensing and safety deadlines are met

·         Prepare the centre’s newsletters and required documents for licensing reviews

·         Coordinate building repairs and keep classroom and first-aid supplies fully stocked

·         Oversee staff hours and payroll to ensure the team is paid accurately and on time

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
