Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.16-$31.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1010 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB R2W 3P7

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Manage daily kitchen operations and all food preparation

·         Cook full meals and prepare signature specialty dishes

·         Plan seasonal menus and maintain high food quality standards

·         Track supply inventory and calculate food and labor costs

·         Supervise and coordinate the kitchen staff during busy shifts

·         Train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, plating, and health regulations

·         Help interview, hire, and onboard new kitchen employees

·         Order kitchen equipment and arrange for needed routine repairs

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
