Position Info:

·         Position: Kitchen Helper

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $18.25/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 38005 Cleveland Ave, Squamish, BC V8B 0C3

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, and other kitchen items

·         Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and food preparation items by hand when required

·         Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, storage spaces, appliances, equipment, and preparation surfaces

·         Collect and dispose of kitchen garbage, recycling, and waste in a safe and timely manner

·         Sweep, mop, wash, and maintain kitchen floors to support a clean and safe working environment

·         Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other basic ingredients for Korean and sushi menu items

·         Assist cooks and sushi kitchen staff by preparing, heating, plating, and finishing simple food items under supervision

Job Requirements:

·         Experience: Experience is an asset

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
